Wife's Volvo 240DL was having fuel delivery issues, and I've been putting off a car purchase for a while now, so I decided to go ahead with it on Wednesday.

2015 GTI Autobahn, Deep Black Pearl Metallic, DSG, Lighting Package. I'm unspeakably jealous - so much nicer than my 2013 Wolfsburg. She likes it so far.

Autobahn edition is just a trim, basically - I had the Wolfsburg, which is sort of a base model for 2013.

Autobahn is full leather, panoramic sunroof, full power driver's seat, navigation, many more goodies. It's also completely redesigned from the mk6 - new chassis, reworked engine, so so so nice.

Not that many are spoken for just yet, as a lot of people are waiting for the Performance Pack option to be orderable (next month sometime, delivers in Sept), but the ones we are getting sell very quickly. Our first three sold in less than 18 hours after being delivered to us.

Test drives can happen, at least for us (we received 9 units, all others in the area got 1-2. We're cool like that).

I'm at Lindsay VW in Sterling, VA - if you're nearby, come on out! Test drives are by appointment only, so just let me know if you're interested.

A little far, haha.

Performance pack isn't officially orderable yet, but will likely be around $ 1500-2000. It includes 17in brakes, VAQ lsd, and an increase of 10hp (to 220hp).

Should be good, but for my purposes it was unnecessary.
